Shri. Govinda Babu Poojary from Shirur Village, Byndoor Taluk was born in 1977 in a farming family as the son of Sri. Babu Poojary and Bijoor Chamana Hittu Manjamma. Shri Govind Babu Poojary, who grew up to be a successful businessman with constant perseverance, honesty, and commitment, has been a champion of the destitute of society for all his work. Hundreds have been involved in service, cultural and religious activities. Sri Varalakshmi Charitable Trust is helping the poor and needy students, the homeless, the elderly, the disabled, and other charities. Shri. Govind Babu Poojary and his company have won over ten awards in recognition of their achievements and progress.
