121 million children of primary and lower secondary school age do not have access to education. Government schools serve the majority of children in our country. These schools have witnessed a decline in their services, and increasingly they are accessed by the poor and the marginalized. Across India, a handful of committed individuals have led efforts to improve government schools, in the belief that they could demonstrate or induce an enduring change in the system. Sri Varalakshmi Charitable Trust led by Govinda Babu Poojari helping government schools to basic amenities and facilities to get good education for rural kids. Donating books and school bags every year and adopting students and bearing all educational expenses, smart class.
Education is a fundamental human right and it is the key to economic and social development .In India, Government schools serve the majority of children. Despite its importance , the quality of education in rural areas of India has been a concern for several decades. Many children in rural areas face challenges such a poverty, lack of infrastructure, inadequate teacher training and limited access to quality education. Across India, a handful of committed individuals have led effort to improve Govt. schools , in the belief that they could serve the enduring change in system. Sri Varalakshmi Charitable Trust adopting Govt. schools to basic amentities and facilities to get good education for rural kids.
The trust has already demonstrated its commitment to education by successfully adopting one government school in a rural area named Govt higher primary school Bijoor, with the aim of elevating the quality of education and providing a nurturing environment for students. Building on this impactful foundation, Shri Varalakshmi Charitable Trust envisions extending its reach to a total of 12 government schools in rural areas. The objective of this ambitious plan is to create a widespread and sustainable impact on education, ensuring that underserved communities have access to quality learning environments.
